Position Summary:
Candidate must be a self-motivated, goal
  • and detail-oriented professional with proven hands-on expertise in non-profit grant writing, including researching funding opportunities, developing compelling proposals, managing grant calendars, and completing grant reporting.
A demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong relationships with funders, donors, and community partners is essential. Experience implementing fundraising campaigns and collaborating across teams to advance development goals is required. Familiarity with annual campaigns, prospect research techniques, donor database and tracking systems, donor stewardship including acknowledgement writing, social media marketing, and the development and implementation of newsletters and annual reports is strongly preferred.
Ideal Qualifications:
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated success in non-profit grant writing Strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Team-oriented professional committed to shared organizational goals Self-starter with the ability to work independently Resourceful problem-solver with strong attention to detail, including editing and proofreading Experience working with donor databases (Network for Good a plus) Experience with social media and basic graphic design is desired Comfortable communicating and working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Write grants and grant reports (these duties will be shared and/or split with other staff.) Collaborate with staff to develop, design, print and distribute marketing and relationship collateral. Promote organization/campaigns through social media and eblast platforms. Collaborate with development director/staff to solicit and manage sponsorship/match opportunities for fundraising campaigns. Develop materials and present at informal and planned organizational meetings. Work with staff as well as current and former clients and program participants to secure testimonials. Compile and analyze program outcome data for use in internal and external reporting. Strategize with staff to develop donor, volunteer, collaborative funding and program partnerships for the organization. Manage the donor database including gift entry, donor acknowledgement process and donor database maintenance/updates/reporting/eblasts/etc. Implement recently developed planned giving program and follow-up stewardship plan. Assist executive leadership, development director, development and other staff with other duties as assigned. Attend occasional board of director, donor/funder, organizational meetings to promote Apricity programs/services.
Job Specifications:
Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, AI Work is performed in an office environment with local travel to Apricity's other facilities occasionally. General office hours are Mon-Fri 7:30-4 PM, with reasonable flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs. $60,000
