Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Travel Immerse yourself in the vibrant city of Neenah, WI, renowned for its scenic beauty, lakefront charm, and Midwestern hospitality. As a travel RN on a Medical/Surgical floor, you'll not only have the chance to broaden your clinical expertise but also enjoy exploring local parks, unique boutiques, and historic sites during your days off. Working a 12-hour night schedule every weekend, you'll gain valuable experience caring for diverse patient populations and navigating innovative leadership styles. This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment renowned for quality patient care. The role demands adaptability and a proactive approach as you'll float throughout the facility and occasionally to locations within a 60-mile radius—expanding your knowledge and developing essential skills for future roles. Exposure to both standard Med/Surg cases and specialized care scenarios such as post-cath, pacemaker, and TR bands will strengthen your resume and set you apart in your nursing career. Schedule/Hours 12-hour night shifts (NOCs), every weekend (shift begins at 5:30 PM) Guaranteed 36 hours per week (except holiday weeks with unit closures) Must work holidays as needed Qualifications Valid WI RN license Current AHA BLS certification At least 3 years of RN experience Minimum of 1 completed travel contract required EPIC charting experience within the past year Resilient, adaptable, hard worker with strong social skills Experience with pre- and post-catheterization care, pacemakers, and TR bands required Responsibilities Deliver high-quality care to Med/Surg and COVID patients (occasionally pediatrics) Patient ratios: 1:5-6, with support staff (LPN/CNA) as appropriate Float throughout the facility and to affiliated locations as needed Ensure accurate documentation and effective communication within interdisciplinary teams Benefits & Travel Perks Tax-advantaged stipends for housing and meals enhance your take-home Comprehensive healthcare coverage and 401(k) for long-term security Premium compensation, travel assistance, plus job stability throughout the assignment Enriching professional experience and opportunities for growth Accelerate your nursing career while enjoying the scenic lifestyle and welcoming community of Neenah.
