: Earn up to $550.00 for joining our 2nd Shift team! Have you ever worked with paper or enjoyed operating cutting machines in a climate-controlled facility ? We are seeking motivated candidates for our Erlanger, Kentucky facility, just minutes from Cincinnati, Ohio. A Paper Die Cut Machine Operator, or a Cutter is responsible for setting up and operating die-cutting machinery to produce high-quality paper products according to customer specifications and production schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of the paper die-cutting processes, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.

SHIFT AVAILABLE
2nd
Shift:
Tues-Fri 4:30pm - 3:00am + $0.75/hr shift premium. Training takes place on 1st shift (6:00am - 4:30pm)
WHAT DOES MY WORKDAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE?
Reads order jacket to determine specifications of order to be cut. Set up die-cutting machines, including loading dies, adjusting pressure and speed, and ensuring proper alignment on a wide variety of equipment in Manufacturing. Operate the machines safely and efficiently to cut paper stock according to job specifications. Ensure that all products meet quality standards and customer requirements. Proactively identify and address potential quality issues. Performs minor maintenance tasks on machinery. Completes paperwork at end of tasks
QUALIFICATIONS SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE IN THIS ROLE HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of die-cutting processes for paper. Ability to read and interpret job specifications and instructions. Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills. Ability to use measuring tools and gauges. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Math and Ruler skills:
The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals is required . Manual dexterity Strong initiative Team player
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience operating die cutting machines, preferably in a paper converting or printing environment
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FUNCTIONS
Stamina & Mobility:
Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for the duration of a scheduled shift (8-12 hours). Must be able to frequently bend, reach, crouch, or stoop.
Weight Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally from floor to waist and waist to shoulder.
Manual Dexterity:
Constant repetitive grasping and fine motor manipulation of paper materials and machine components.
Range of Motion:
Frequent twisting of the torso and lifting above shoulder height.
Sensory/Vision:
Must possess tactile/touch sensitivity in hands and digits. Near and far visual acuity, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required for quality control and safe machine operation.
Work Environment:
Ability to perform these functions in a manufacturing environment that may include high noise levels, varying temperatures, and paper dust. Share job details to
