Job Description

Diesel Field Technician Durham, ME 04222 Full-time Full-time Maine Custom Woodlands, established in 1993, is a family-owned mid-size forestry and land management company with two fully-mechanized crews, a horizontal grinder division, and excavation and forestry mowing divisions. We also own and operate a trucking fleet, MCW Trucking Inc., which transports forest products from job sites to mills across the state. Our jobsites are within a 60-mile radius of Durham, ME. Maine Custom Woodlands / MCW Trucking is seeking a Diesel Field Technician. This is an immediate position for year-round, full-time employment. We are open to helping with relocation for the right candidate.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, some flexibility on hours, with occasional Saturday if needed
Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting electrical, HVAC, and hydraulic issues in the field on heavy equipment, trucks and trailers independently Roadside repairs on heavy trucks and trailers Performing routine preventative maintenance services on equipment Maintaining maintenance and repair records in Fullbay software Pricing and procuring parts from third party companies
Requirements:
Candidate must possess a valid
CDL B, CDL A
is a plus Must own your own tools Must be an early riser who is organized and able to work well both individually and as a team member Welding and fabrication experience preferred Two years of mechanical education and/or work experience required
