Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and longevity of transportation vehicles. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components using schematics and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, alignment adjustments, and HVAC system servicing on heavy equipment and vehicles Fabricate parts or components as needed using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and fabrication skills Conduct electrical diagnostics on industrial equipment and automotive systems to identify faults accurately Service a variety of machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, trailers, construction machinery, and farm equipment Use heavy equipment operation skills to assist in equipment repairs or testing when necessary Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines Experience Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engine diagnostics and repair in dealership or industrial settings Strong background tractors-trailers, and other heavy machinery Familiarity with schematics interpretation for electrical systems and mechanical troubleshooting Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering for custom repairs or modifications Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on large machinery or vehicle components Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members Join us if you're passionate about keeping heavy machinery running smoothly!
