Starting Pay•$35•37/hourWhat You Will Do:
Work a typical schedule of 7:00 AM•5:00 PM, Monday•Friday with weekend hours as needed Service our Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks along with forklifts. This work will not only be on the chassis side of the vehicles, but a considerable amount of time will be spent working on pumping systems, lift gates, etc. There may also be times when field repairs are required Perform preventative maintenance, monthly inspections Perform and analyze diagnostic tests to find faults in vehicles Work with vendors for preferred pricing and reduction of unit maintenance costs Support and demonstrate company culture and values with coworkers and customers Always put safety first What Talents We areLooking For:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform thorough diagnostic tests, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel engines, and aftertreatment systems, air brakes, hydraulics, electrical systems, and other components to maintain fleet performance and safety. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance services to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts usage and work performed, using maintenance tracking software. Ensure all work complies with DOT and company safety regulations. Assist in managing shop and parts inventory to minimize downtime. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Communicate clearly with drivers, dispatch, and leadership regarding repair status, timelines, and equipment needs.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred. Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with emphasis on road service or field repair work strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks, fuel trailers, and Paccar and Cummins engines. Ability to work independently with limited supervision while making sound repair decisions. Proficiency with diagnostic tools, troubleshooting techniques, and DOT inspection criteria. CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred but not required. Must provide own tools and maintain a professional appearance per company policy. Ability to lift 50 lbs Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends as needed Strong communication and documentation skills.
