Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician to join a local team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of trucks and trailers to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on fleet vehicles and trailers. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Repair and replace parts as needed, including brakes, transmissions, and suspension systems. Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with DOT regulations. Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to prioritize repairs. Respond to roadside service calls when necessary.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or fleet technician. Familiarity with Peterbilt trucks and heavy-duty trailer systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. CDL preferred but not required. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
