Job Description

Compensation:
$25 - $35 hourly
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Perform routine maintenance checks and services on construction equipment to prevent downtime. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed for future reference and compliance. Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems and address them proactively. Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks comply with industry standards and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with the operations team to schedule maintenance without disrupting workflow.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role. Strong knowledge of diesel engines and systems. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Familiarity with HVAC systems in diesel vehicles. The ability to solder and perform tire service is a plus. Knowledge of tractor-trailer systems is beneficial. Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You must live in the US.
