Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Service Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment, including industrial equipment, and vehicle fleets. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior dealership experience and familiarity with heavy equipment operation are highly valued. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse machinery and develop expertise in diesel engine repair and vehicle maintenance.
Schedule:
looking for someone with availability to work tuesday thru Saturday 9am-530pm Duties Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, and general inspections. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues accurately. Fabricate and modify parts or components as needed using power tools and welding equipment. Repair and maintain heavy equipment including tractors, trailers, and other industrial machinery. Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and perform heavy lifting safely. Assist with assembly and disassembly of various equipment parts during repairs or upgrades. Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications while providing excellent customer service. Maintain detailed records of service performed and parts used for each job. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engines and heavy equipment repair is a plus but not required.. training is available Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, electrical systems, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and transmissions. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, alignment tools, air brakes systems, shocks & struts replacement, tire service equipment, and maintenance procedures. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with good customer service skills. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work in physically demanding environments. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred; must be able to operate various types of industrial equipment safely. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to quality workmanship and safety standards while providing exceptional service to clients.
