$30.00 - $50.00 per hour (DOE) Job Summary Wallstreet Sand Co. is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to support maintenance and repair operations at our sand plant in Kermit, TX . This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered equipment and vehicles used in daily mining and plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and experience working on heavy equipment, diesel engines, and industrial machinery in a mining, construction, or oilfield environment . Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, heavy equipment, and plant support equipment Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, loaders, and other diesel-powered machinery Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues Conduct routine equipment inspections and safety checks Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records Work closely with operations teams to minimize downtime and keep equipment running efficiently Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety policies and site procedures Pay $30 - $50 per hour depending on experience Overtime opportunities may be available Qualifications Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems Experience working on heavy equipment used in mining, construction, or industrial operations preferred Ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to work safely in an industrial plant setting
