Dietary Aide

Oskaloosa Care Center, an 83 bed skilled, well-established, long term care facility, is hiring a Dietary Aide. We are focused on creating environments where moments of Joy, Independence, and Wellness are the focus each and every day for residents and staff. We are looking for a compassionate person to join our team as a PT Dietary Aide/Server. Shifts include days, evening, and rotating weekends.

JOB DUTIES

Dietary Aides are responsible for preparing beverages, cleaning and washing dishes, assisting with meal prep & serving of meals and providing customer service to our residents. The goal is to provide excellent food services by following instructions and adhering to all safety and health standards.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate must be friendly & have a caring resident-oriented attitude and be committed to providing excellent service. Specific qualifications include reliable transportation, reliable attendance, and ability to work well with others in the workplace! To be successful applicant must be able to multi-task, be detail oriented and work with minimal supervision. Experience in long-term care is preferred but is not a requirement of this position. Training will be done on-the-job, and the successful candidate will work well in a fast paced environment. Oskaloosa Care Center is an EOE.
