Job Description
Position:
Dietary Aide Long Term Care Setting Shift will be 6am-6pmFULL TIME
Job Summary Join our dedicated dietary team as a Dietary Aide, where you will play a vital role in delivering nutritious, appealing meals to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or healthcare facilities. Your energetic and compassionate approach will ensure that each resident receives exceptional food service while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our residents through efficient meal preparation, serving, and sanitation practices. Responsibilities Assist with food production and meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards Serve meals to residents with friendly, attentive customer service, ensuring their dietary needs are met Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas through proper cleaning, sanitizing, and bussing procedures Handle food safely by following proper food handling protocols and adhering to sanitation regulations Support the dietary department by organizing supplies, stocking food items, and assisting with inventory management Ensure timely delivery of meals by managing time effectively during meal service Assist with general kitchen duties such as cooking, plating, and portioning under supervision when necessary Qualifications Experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred Knowledge of food preparation, serving, and food safety practices Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Previous dietary aide or food handling experience is a plus Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining excellent customer service skills Familiarity with sanitation standards and kitchen safety protocols Passion for helping others and contributing positively to residents' dining experiences Join us in creating a warm and welcoming environment where nutritious meals make a difference every day!
