The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a aide/dishwasher , you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, assisting in the preparation of high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment ensuring all dishes are cleaned properly. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen staff will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of ingredients for various dishes, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage practices. Assist in ensuring all dishes are washed and stored properly Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other food preparation tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements when necessary. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages. Requirements Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. A team player with strong communication skills who can work well with others in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
