Dietary Director

Dietary Director Skilled Nursing Facility | Eastern Pennsylvania A well-established skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced Dietary Director to oversee all aspects of the food service department. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality meal service, regulatory compliance, and overall resident satisfaction. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can manage staff, maintain standards, and create a positive dining experience for residents.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the dietary department Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations Manage, train, and schedule dietary staff Develop and monitor menus in accordance with dietary and nutritional guidelines Collaborate with clinical teams to meet residents' dietary needs Maintain food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards Manage department budget, food costs, and inventory Ensure a high level of resident satisfaction and quality service

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a Dietary Director in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting Strong knowledge of dietary regulations and survey compliance Experience managing staff and department operations Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or related credentials preferred Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
