We're looking for a Licensed Dietitian to support a psychiatric facility in Weston, West Virginia. You'll work with physicians, dietary staff, and nursing teams to make sure residents receive appropriate, compliant nutritional care. Job Quick Facts Reference #:

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm (40 hours/week). At least two onsite days per week (8 hours/day); remaining hours may be completed offsite.
Rate:
$40 per hour

$0.45 per mile reimbursement What we're looking for Active West Virginia Licensed Dietitian license Registration with the West Virginia Board of Licensed Dietitians Minimum of 1 year of clinical dietitian experience preferred Experience in behavioral health, long-term care, or hospital settings is a plus What you'll do Provide full-time clinical dietitian consulting services for facility residents Review and evaluate all new admissions within the first seven calendar days Perform nutritional assessments (annual, new admissions, and significant change) Monitor tube-fed residents' charts at least monthly Monitor diabetic residents' charts weekly and residents with decubitus ulcers monthly Review diet orders monthly (or as needed) and recommend changes to facility physicians based on labs and nutritional needs Participate in treatment team meetings and lead or oversee weekly weight management meetings when requested Provide in-service training to dietary and nursing staff during normal business hours Develop seasonal menus for special diets and assist with menu approvals Document findings in the resident electronic medical record and provide EMR training as needed Maintain HIPAA privacy and security compliance and complete required HIPAA training If you enjoy collaborative work in a behavioral health setting and want a flexible contract role with routine onsite engagement, this could be a great fit.
