Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Primary Purpose Develop and train instructional staff to effectively incorporate technology into instructional programs and curriculum. Support the effective integration of instructional technology and digital curriculum resources to enhance teaching and learning. Provide training, technical support, rostering management, and coaching for teachers and staff in the use of district-approved instructional software and digital platforms. This position is contingent upon federal grant and/or state compensatory funds. Qualifications Education/Certification Bachelor's degree required Valid Texas teaching certificate required Special Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of instructional software applications Ability to develop and deliver technology training to adult learners Knowledge of curriculum and technology used in instructional settings Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience Three years of classroom teaching experience required Instructional coach or administrator experience preferred Major Responsibilities and Duties Training Design, develop, and present effective campus- and district-level staff development on the use of technology-based instructional strategies in the classroom. Assess participant acquisition of skills using a variety of evaluation procedures and conduct follow-up training based on results. Design individual instructional modules, instructional materials, and training aids that incorporate the use of technology into the existing curriculum. Work with principals and instructional coaches in planning technology training, implementing technology plans, and selecting instructional equipment and software. Work with district technology staff and outside vendors to ensure that teachers and administrators have the support, equipment, and materials needed to implement technology-based instruction. Monitor and evaluate implementation of technology-based curriculum at the campus level. Handle all district rostering for curriculum resources and online platforms. Other Compile, maintain, and file all required reports, records, and other documents. Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy. Comply with all district and campus routines and regulations. Perform duties as required by federal and state guidelines. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
