Dining Center Host Part-time Position

QUALIFICATIONS 1.

High School diploma or equivalent required. 2. Knowledge, training, and/or experience in planning and conducting group recreation/ socialization activities. 3. Must be able to communicate effectively with older adults. 4. Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. 5. Must successfully pass all agency-required background checks. WAGE $17.00/hour

SCHEDULE

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 1.

Complete customer intake and other required forms in a timely manner in compliance with Region VII Policy and ACLS Bureau Minimum Standards. 2. Provide and/or arrange for daily socialization/recreation activities for site participants. 3. Oversee meal site reservation system. 4. Adhere to sound fiscal procedures in handling client contributions. 5. Check the temperature of food prior to serving and record the temperature. When necessary, reheat or cool the food to ensure proper food safety.
