Direct Care Professional/CFC Trainer

Direct Support Professional We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professional to provide in-home and community-based services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism in Wharton and Fort Bend County. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, maintain a professional demeanor, and support individuals in building daily living skills while encouraging community involvement and independence. Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and community support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism
• Assist with independent living skills and daily routines
• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and activities as needed
• Help with grocery shopping and other community-based tasks
• Accompany individuals to recreational and community outings
• Identify appropriate community activities and outings that match individual interests and needs
• Work respectfully with individuals and families in the home environment
• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and appropriate communication at all times Requirements
• Ability to work independently and use sound judgment
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
• Comfort working with diverse individuals and families
• Ability to work in the intimate setting of a family's home
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Reliable personal transportation and active auto insurance
• Driving on a regular basis Schedule and Location This position serves clients in Wharton and Fort Bend County.
