Mill Spring Full Time Lodge Advisor

• Direct Care Residential Support The Farm Lodge Advisor's duties and responsibilities include overseeing the healing milieu of their assigned lodge and assisting residents with integration into the therapeutic community.

Lodge Advisors support residents' recovery by building authentic, professional relationships and helping residents restore a sense of engagement, productivity, and contribution. Lodge Advisors create and maintain a safe and supportive evening and weekend environment with planned activities and supportive check-ins that benefit the residents' recovery experience. The Lodge Advisor's primary task is to ensure the fulfillment of CooperRiis' mission by assisting residents in meeting the goals defined in their individual Recovery Plan. Location Mill Spring The Lodge Advisor position will be full-time, working a 4-day per week schedule with evenings and weekends, including at least one overnight sleep shift per week.

• 10:30 pm Fr 4 pm
• 12 am overnight sleep shift Sat 12 am
• 8 am, 1 pm
• 9:30 pm 40 hours per week

Pay:

Starting at $17.00 per hour and increases based on experience

Responsibilities:

Has a thorough understanding of the Farm program and the (7) seven-domains enhanced model of recovery. Engages fully in the recovery process for each resident in their Lodge. The Lodge Advisor has a thorough understanding of each resident's Recovery Plan and actively assists each resident in attaining their goals. Ensures that the health and safety of each resident is always tended to and responds immediately to health and safety concerns as they emerge. Checks in with residents throughout the evening and picks up on emerging issues while continuing to help move residents into a positive evening experience, especially by encouraging their participation in evening recreational, social, and cultural activities. Facilitates 'spontaneous' social experiences in the lodge for residents who have chosen not to attend other planned events.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree or equivalent life experience At least 21 years or older, a valid driver's license, with an acceptable driving record to be on our company car insurance CooperRiis is an equal opportunity employer.
