About the Role We're looking for dependable, compassionate individuals who want meaningful work-not just a job. As a Direct Support Professional, you'll help individuals live safely and independently in their homes and stay engaged in their communities. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, responsible, and takes pride in making a real difference in someone's daily life. What You'll Do Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation Support mobility needs (including wheelchair transfers when needed) Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment Offer reminders for medications and daily routines (per care plan) Observe and report any changes in health or well-being Communicate updates with families and care teams Follow each client's Individual Support Plan (ISP) What We Expect Reliability is critical-clients depend on you. Advance notice (minimum two weeks) is required for time off Willingness to learn, ask questions, and follow care plans carefully Professional, respectful communication with clients and families A strong sense of responsibility and integrity What Makes You a Great Fit Naturally compassionate and patient Strong work ethic and positive attitude Able to build trust and rapport with clients Comfortable providing hands-on personal care Open to feedback, training, and growth Qualifications At least 3 months of hands-on caregiving or related experience Experience in personal care, healthcare, or a similar field preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable) Ability to pass required background checks Why Join Source of Hope?
