Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Direct Care Staff member and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized support and compassionate care. In this vital role, you will provide assistance with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure a safe, respectful environment. Your energy and commitment will help create a positive atmosphere where young residents feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. This position offers an engaging opportunity to work closely with diverse populations, including enhanced teens ages 12-21 Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Administer medications following prescribed protocols identify any changes or concerns promptly Engage residents in social activities and therapeutic programs to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident areas and common spaces Document care provided, incident reports, and resident progress clearly and thoroughly to ensure continuity of care Experience Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or personal care homes is highly desirable Demonstrated knowledge of behavior management techniques Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges in group home or community settings Familiarity with, medication administration Valid driver's license preferred for roles involving community outings or transportation responsibilities Certification in first aid is advantageous; ongoing training in caregiving best practices is encouraged Embark on a rewarding career where your compassion fuels positive change!
