Fox Run:
The Center for Children and Adolescents, a subsidiary of UHS, is recruiting for dynamic and talented Direct Care/Mental Health Technicians for 2nd shift(2:30 p.m. - 11 p.m.), 3rd shift(10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.). Located in St. Clairsville (OH), this 100-bed facility thrives on passionate and dedicated personnel, while incorporating innovative technology and therapies for the betterment of our patients. The Direct Care/Behavioral Health position is a front-line, entry-level opportunity with responsibility for direct patient care of our children and adolescent residents. The Direct Care/Behavioral Health staff ensures the safety and well-being of the residents while supporting the therapeutic milieu. We are seeking compassionate, dedicated individuals to help us continue our tradition of helping our residents achieve the greatest chance of success possible. The Direct Care/Behavioral Health staff participates in the development and implementation of residents' behavioral programs by providing care and close supervision of facility residents and documenting behavior; by developing positive relationships with residents and co-workers; following facility policies and procedures; and by implementing treatment plans and providing crisis intervention as necessary.
Qualifications Education & Experience:
High School diploma or GED is required. Experience working in a children/adolescent program preferred but not required. Experience in a residential program is preferred.
