Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to manage the front counter operations at our dry cleaning location. This role is the face of our business, requiring a friendly demeanor, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will work 32-40 hours per week handling garment intake, quality inspection, and customer pick-ups. Professional counter sales training will be provided for candidates who are new to the dry cleaning industry but possess a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Garment Intake:

Greet customers warmly, accurately tag and mark incoming garments, and write up work orders with precision.

Quality Inspection:

Meticulously inspect incoming items for stains, tears, buttons, and previous damage to ensure proper handling and customer communication.

Customer Service:

Assist customers during the pick-up process, locate finished orders, process payments (cash/credit), and resolve any service inquiries with professionalism.

Organization:

Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable counter area and waiting space.

Schedule Adherence:

Work within operating hours to ensure smooth workflow and timely service for customers.

Work Schedule:

Shift Window:

Between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM

Days:

Monday through Friday and Alternate Saturday (32-40 hours per week; specific schedule and days off to be discussed during the interview).

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Detail:

Must be able to inspect clothing carefully for damages and stains.

Reliability:

Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and handle garments (light lifting, reaching, and bending).

Math Skills:

Basic proficiency with cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems. .

Transportation :

A Valid driving License with a Car is a must.
