Direct Care Worker

America's Home Health - Wilkes Barre is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide support and care to our clients in Wyoming, PA. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Support clients with mobility and transferring safely. Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Provide companionship and emotional support. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document care and report any changes in client condition to supervisors. Follow care plans and comply with company policies and procedures. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in direct care or healthcare is a plus. Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic. Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable). Must pass background checks and drug screening. Benefits Competitive pay at $14.00 per hour, paid weekly.
