Job Description

Teller - Full-Time We are currently hiring for two full-time Teller positions to support exceptional member service and daily branch operations.
Opportunity:
Join our team in a frontline member service role where accuracy, professionalism, and relationship-building matter every day.
Team Environment:
You will work closely with branch leadership and team members to provide timely, accurate, and friendly service to every member.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Teller, you will be one of the first points of contact for our members, helping create a positive experience through friendly service, transaction accuracy, and day-to-day account support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service. In this role, you will handle a variety of daily financial transactions while supporting members with questions, account services, and product awareness. Successful candidates bring professionalism, accuracy, and a service-first mindset to every interaction.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Assist members in person with account inquiries, stop payments, account maintenance, loan payoff information, and available services.
  • Respond to questions, concerns, and service issues promptly, resolving them directly or referring members to the appropriate department.
  • Process daily financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, and other routine member service activities.
  • Handle mail and night drop transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist members with account closures, direct deposit or payroll deduction setup, and related documentation.
  • Prepare new account packets and accept Visa card applications for submission to the Lending Department.
  • Balance cash and checks at the end of each business day and assist with account discrepancies as needed.
  • Promote credit union products, services, and current promotions by educating members on features and benefits that support their financial needs.
  • Sell approved convenience items such as postage stamps, gift cards, and tickets, and provide clerical support as needed.
  • Support operations at other locations when necessary, contribute to a positive workplace culture, and perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Comfort working with numbers and handling cash accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Previous cash handling, customer service, retail banking, or credit union experience is preferred.
