Personal Care (assistance with bathing/toileting/general grooming etc.) Meal Preparation Medication Administration Housekeeping (laundry, dishes, vacuuming, cleaning personal spaces etc.) General Supervision DCWs also can provide respite services to clients that include similar tasks. This allows the primary caregiver (typically a family member) to take a break from their duties while knowing their loved one is cared for in their absence.
