Whether supporting residents in group homes, assisted living facilities, or home and community settings, your energy and commitment will foster a positive environment where everyone can thrive. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while making a lasting impact on the lives of those you serve. Responsibilities Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's personal assistance devices Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs and preferences Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and adherence to infection control protocols Document care activities accurately, including patient observations, incident reports, and progress notes Engage residents in social activities and community outings to promote socialization and mental stimulation Skills Proven experience in group home settings, assisted living, or home health environments Knowledge of patient care techniques including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, autism support, and hospice care Ability to perform CPR and first aid confidently in emergency situations Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized support Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members, residents, families, and healthcare providers Physical stamina for heavy lifting, assisting with transfers using Hoyer lifts or resident's personal devices Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Join us in providing compassionate support that empowers individuals to live fulfilling lives.
