Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide compassionate, individualized support and care to residents with developmental or intellectual disabilities. Facilitate daily living activities, personal development, and social integration in a safe, supportive residential environment.
Responsibilities:
1.
Daily Living Supports:
Help individuals develop and maintain skills for daily living, such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal care. Support individuals in developing daily living skills, such as cooking, communication, and hygiene. 2.
Skill Development and Advocacy:
Accompany participants on group outings to promote community integration. Provide transportation, if applicable, ensuring safety during trips. 3.
Documentation:
Record daily activities, progress, and incidents according to organizational and regulatory standards. Maintain confidentiality of participants' personal information. 4.
Team Collaboration:
Communicate regularly with program staff, case managers, and families. Participate in training, meetings, and professional development opportunities. 5. Other duties as assigned. Certifications (as applicable): First Aid and CPR certification (obtainable upon hire) Valid Driver's license Must stay in compliance with all DDA, BON, and agency training.
