Full Job Description Position Title:

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Overview Family Care for You is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our team. DSPs play a vital role in helping individuals with developmental disabilities, medical needs, or daily living challenges live as independently and fully as possible. Responsibilities Provide hands-on support with daily living activities such as personal care, hygiene, and meal preparation. Support clients in community involvement, recreational activities, and skill-building opportunities. Assist with mobility, transportation, and appointments as needed. Administer medication reminders and follow individual care plans. Foster independence, self-advocacy, and social interaction in a safe, supportive environment. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate regularly with supervisors and families. Ensure a safe and respectful environment for all clients. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or direct support preferred but not required. Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must pass background checks and meet all state regulatory requirements.
