Direct Support Professional (DSP)

About us Quest Services is a not for profit offering residential, medical and vocational supports to individuals with Intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are excited to add Direct Support Professionals to join our team! As a DSP, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care and support to our Individuals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living, which includes all personal care (bathing, toileting, incontinence care, oral hygiene, grooming, medication administration, transfers, positioning, ambulation)
• Perform household management duties such as: laundry, housekeeping, cooking, etc.
• Transporting individuals on outings and activities in the community
• Ensure the rights of individuals, especially the right not to be subject to abuse, neglect or exploitation of any kind
• Follow all HIPAA guidelines to maintain confidentiality
• Help individuals move toward a life of independence, opportunity, general well being, and contribution in their home, their job and their community.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with individuals with I/DD is preferred
• Kansas Driver's License and an acceptable Driving record
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate attitude Immediately hiring for a Full-time nightshift position:
• Thurs/Fri 11pm
• 9am, Sat 9pm
