Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and become a vital part of empowering individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other challenges to live fulfilling, independent lives. In this energetic role, you will provide compassionate, personalized support to promote growth, safety, and well-being. Your efforts will help clients achieve their goals through engaging activities, skill development, and community integration. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities Assist individuals with daily living activities such as grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and medication administration to foster independence and health. Support behavioral health and behavior management strategies to encourage positive behaviors and emotional regulation. Drive clients safely to appointments, activities, or community outings while maintaining a high standard of safety and care. Collect data on progress and behaviors to track development goals and inform care plans. Provide caregiving support in home and community settings, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment at all times. Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or related conditions is highly preferred. Knowledge of special education principles and behavioral health practices is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. Ability to perform ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) assistance with patience and sensitivity. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for driving responsibilities. Experience in home & community care environments or caregiving roles is desirable. Familiarity with data collection methods related to client progress or behavior tracking. Certification or experience in medication administration is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary. Embark on a fulfilling career where your compassion fuels positive change! Pay:
$14.95 - $16.79 per hour
