Direct Support Professional (Day Habilitation Site)

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities with positions available at our Fostoria Division helping the people we serve with their employment at Seneca Re-Ads in a factory type setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of those in their care. Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily habilitation activities including programming and community connections.
• Provide direct support and supervision to individuals in a day facility setting.
• Support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals and independence
• Implement individualized service plans tailored to each person's needs
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals under your care Skills
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of DODD practices and procedures
• Ability to provide direct support and care to individuals in a compassionate manner
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with individuals, families and the public
• CPR certification is preferred but not required; we will pay for the training
• Previous experience as a DSP is a plus
