Jamesville, NY Job Details Per diem $18.50 - $20.50 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description 1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed - Jamesville (EE - JT) A 20-year-old male is looking for a DSP in the Jamesville area. He would like to be supported to be more independent, and to improve his communication and social skills. He is a young man that lives at home with his family. John enjoys watching television, playing videos games, and listening to a wide variety of music. John also likes to draw and play with Barbies. John enjoys being in the water. He needs to be reminded to wash his hands after using the bathroom. If the DSP needs to use the restroom, they must take John into the bathroom and have him stand outside of the stall so the DSP can see his feet. DSP is encouraged to hold a conversation with John to keep him engaged. If John goes swimming, he needs to be prompted to put his clothes in the bag, and then his swimsuit & towel when done swimming. The ideal candidate is willing to support him to explore new activities in his community and learn positive communication skills. This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving service at the agency.

Hours and days of work:

Flexible only on weekends Starting pay: CH 1 Starting pay is $18.50/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.

Location:

Jamesville, NY Must have a valid drivers license Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required. Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time. Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by
