Lifting Adults with Guidance is located in a beautiful newly renovated upscale facility in Warren Township, NJ. We are committed to providing support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our staff works closely with clients, assisting them in reaching their individual goals and dreams. We actively engage in community service activities, and other meaningful projects.

Responsibilities:

As a Direct Support Professional, you'll be on a rewarding journey, positively impacting the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Assisting with

Goals:

Help individuals live in society by supporting their personal development and independence. Collaborate with clients to create and work towards individualized goals.

Supervising Recreational Activities:

Use a positive and supportive approach to engage clients in recreational activities. Foster a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.

Compassion and Kindness:

Demonstrate compassion, kindness, and empathy in your interactions with clients. Engaging with

Clients:

Provide emotional support to individuals in the Lifting Adults with Guidance program. Foster positive relationships and promote social connections. Maintaining a

Positive Attitude:

Bring an upbeat and positive attitude to your work. A good sense of humor is valuable in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Age:

At least 21 years old.

Education:

High school diploma or GED.

Driver's License:

Valid New Jersey Driver's license.

Language Skills:

Effective communication in English.

Other Skills:

Microsoft Office a plus but not necessary Speaking Spanish a plus but not necessary Part-Time positions available now, and Full-Time positions obtainable if desired after a short trial period.
