Direct Support Professional

TriSource is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a day program setting located in the Havre de Grace area. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in the community, building meaningful relationships, and helping individuals maintain independence and quality of life.

Schedules:

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with clean driving record/MVR (2 points or less; no DUI/DWI) Comfortable driving company vehicles (personal vehicle not required while working) Drug screen (must be completed within 48 hours) DOT Physical (company-paid) Ability to pass National and criminal background check Fingerprinting (company paid) CPR/First Aid certification MANDT training DDA Trainings (Core 9, Seizure Disorders, BBP, Abuse & Neglect, HIPAA, Dysphagia and Specialized Diets, Sexual Abuse Prevention) High school diploma or GED preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities Transport individuals safely to and from home, the center, and community activities using company vehicles Assist with community integration and daily programming Support individuals with personal care, communication, and behavioral needs as needed Maintain documentation and follow all safety and care protocols Build positive relationships and ensure individuals are engaged and supported throughout the day If you are dependable, compassionate, and looking to make a difference in the lives of others, apply today! #IND2
