Direct Support Staff/Caregiver Hermann MO

Reliable Home Care is looking for caring and reliable employees to join our team of Direct Care Staff. We provide services to individuals with limited abilities in an ISL (Independent Supported Living) setting. DCS are required to pass medications, support individuals with activities of daily living, be able to document daily goals/ achievements and follow company policies/procedures in accordance with DMH regulation/requirements. Providing supports to people with limited abilities in areas such as person care, health and well-being, accessing the community, learning independent living skills; by implementing his/her Individualized Support Plan

• Create and maintain an environment that empowers people with limited abilities
• Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner while on shift; progress notes, MAR's, medical documents, event reports, staff communication notes and so forth
• Maintain staff, consumer, and agency confidentiality
• Complete/ provide support with household chores and cooking
• May involving lifting and supporting up to 50lbs , along with bending, stooping and kneeling
• May include transferring and supporting consumers in/out of wheelchairs, beds and vehicles, including the use of adaptive equipment
• Attend all required trainings/ meetings
• Applicant will be trained in Level I Medication Aide and CPR
• Provide transportation to/from appointments, and community interests/activities
• Applicant must work at least one weekend shift a week.

Advancement possible within the company, Retirement plan after 1 year consecutive employment, healthcare available after 90 days. Applicant must be reliable, have a valid driver licens e, have reliable transportation and current vehicle insurance . Requirements include High School Diploma/GED/HiSet, and pass a background screening. Part time/Full time positions available

Shifts:

Days (7a-3p Saturday and Sunday), Evenings (3p-11p Monday thru Sunday). Must be willing to work weekends. Advancement possible within the company.

Pay:

Positions start at: $17.50-$19.50 hour. Weekend differential is $2.00 more per hour . (i.e., Mon-Fri $17.50/hr. = Sat/Sun $19.50hr.).
