Butler Rescue Hands, Inc. Butler Rescue Hands, Inc. is currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated staff to provide support services for individuals receiving services through the Connecticut DDS program. We are looking for professionals who are patient, reliable, and passionate about supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in both home and community settings. Position Responsibilities Provide daily support and supervision based on individualized needs Assist with community outings, social engagement, and skill-building activities Support independence, communication, and daily routines Maintain professional documentation and communication with the agency Ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of all individuals served Transport individuals safely to activities and appointments as needed Follow behavior support plans, agency policies, and DDS guidelines Requirements Active CPR certification (required) Autism training and/or certification required Proof of all certifications and trainings must be provided at the time of interview/onboarding Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation Ability to pass a criminal background check Professional, dependable, and compassionate attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and documentation skills Must be comfortable working in community and home settings Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder Benefits Supportive team environment Flexible schedules Ongoing training opportunities Meaningful and rewarding work Opportunity for growth within the agency If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, we would love to hear from you.

Pay:

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
