Job Description

Description Join CPa Medical Billing as an onsite Medical Billing Team Lead and play a vital role in guiding our billing operations to success. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional who is committed to excellence in healthcare revenue cycle management. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support the daily activities of the billing and accounts receivable team
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims and follow-up on unpaid or denied claims
  • Monitor billing performance metrics and implement process improvements
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and productivity
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues and optimize revenue cycle processes
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements
  • Assist in resolving complex billing issues and escalate as necessary

Requirements Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and accounts receivable
  • FQHC and/or ECW required
  • Medicare UB strongly preferred
  • Leadership experience preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of healthcare billing regulations and payer requirements
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead a team effectively and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • This position is onsite in our East Haven, CT office.
