Director

Kids & Cribs Child Enrichment Center, a four star-rated center, is currently seeking a Center Director. Kids & Cribs is a family-owned center in Fort Thomas, KY and has been in business for over 35 years. The Center accepts children from six weeks of age to five years old. Kids & Cribs philosophy is focused on a play based curriculum utilizing educational learning centers. We provide a safe, nurturing environment for children entrusted into our care and seek to serve families and the local community. The director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business and must be available between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Job Description & Responsibilities of the Director Responsible for full operations of center including P&L, Academics, Admissions, Assessment & Screening, Parent and Community Relationships, Staffing, Human Resources, Purchasing, Bookkeeping, Payroll, Compliance, and Strategic Planning. Supports the Assistant Director and Teachers. Assists in classrooms Oversees curriculum development Assists teachers with lesson planning and delivery of instruction Conducts classroom observations Tracks professional development Ensures compliance with All Stars and state licensing requirements. Trains, coaches, and mentors teachers Basic computer skills required Responsible for the overall management of the center Applicable Experience Three to five years teaching experience in early childhood education CDA, CCCA, Director's Certificate, and/or degree in early childhood education or development Benefits Paid vacation, sick and bereavement time Dental and vision insurance available Paid holidays
