Lead a high-impact service line as the Director Diagnostic Imaging at a dynamic, patient-first Critical Access Hospital in northern New Hampshire—an exciting opportunity where advanced imaging, leadership growth, and community pride meet for an unforgettable career adventure! Within the radiology department, the Director Diagnostic Imaging will guide a comprehensive imaging service that integrates CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, nuclear medicine, X-ray, and interdepartmental procedural support for emergency, surgical, and inpatient care; as the Director Radiology, Diagnostic Imaging Director, this leader will advance operations in a setting defined by a Critical Access Hospital recognized for high-quality, low-cost care, serving the Upper Connecticut Valley for over 120 years, with recognized excellence in patient care, adoption of advanced surgical technologies, a community-focused mission, and a designation as a regional trauma center that elevates acuity, skill growth, and multidisciplinary coordination. Reporting to a senior executive such as the Chief Operating Officer or a Vice President, the Director Diagnostic Imaging will be supported by modality supervisors, lead technologists, a
PACS/RIS
administrator, quality and radiation safety partners, and respected board-certified radiologists; as the Director Radiology, Diagnostic Imaging Director, responsibilities include strategic planning, accreditation readiness (e.g., ACR, MQSA), compliance and dose optimization, budget and capital planning, staff development and certification support, patient throughput and turnaround time improvement, imaging informatics optimization, and close collaboration with friendly nurses and a diverse team of physicians, APPs, pharmacists, therapists, case managers, and allied health professionals who share a mission-driven, patient-first focus.
