Job Summary The Director of Facilities provides leadership and direction to the facilities department offered at CHOC including but not limited to Plant Operations, Plant Maintenance, Grounds and Organizational wide repairs and maintenance. This position is responsible for the staff and maintenance of; facilities, equipment, utility systems and compliance with all regulatory agencies having jurisdiction. Additional responsibilities include; development and oversight of divisional operations including annual operating and capital budgets, productivity monitoring system, active participation in analysis of financial, operational and clinical information systems and program development in support of the organization's strategic goals. Pay Range Minimum $133,827 Midpoint $177,320 Maximum $220,792 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements. Experience •
Required:
Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience in director/manager position with progressive and increasing scope of responsibility with a history of demonstrated success. Previous Hospital Plant Maintenance & Operations experience. Education •Required:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of Education. Training •Required:
Knowledge of steam boilers; building automated systems; heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems. Knowledge of JCAHO, OSHPD and Cal OSHA requirements. Specialized Skills •Required:
Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards; lead with sensitivity and respect; promote energy conservation through development of new ideas and technology; promote teamwork; understands and exceeds customer expectations. Knowledge of Family-Centered Care Concepts and Quality Improvement methodologies. Demonstrated skill in collaborating with core customers, peers, and other constituents. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities concurrently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to successfully provide/promote safe facilities within the parameters of licensure and regulatory requirements. Excellent conflict resolution skills and proven ability to effectively lead teams to consensus. Budgeting, variance tracking and productivity monitory. Licensure •Required:
