Nutrition Services Director

You will oversee daily operations, staff management, budgeting, procurement, and regulatory compliance while fostering strong communication across departments to support patient satisfaction and safety. ️Key Responsibilities Food Quality & Service Excellence Ensure food provided to patient care areas, cafeteria, and catering locations is appealing, safe, timely, and prepared in appropriate quantities Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and sanitation Support optimal meal accuracy and acceptance for patients, staff, and visitors Operations, Purchasing & Financial Oversight Supervise purchasing, storage, and appropriate use of food, supplies, and equipment Ensure invoices are processed correctly and in a timely manner Ensure accurate and timely completion of departmental payroll Assist with budgeting and cost‑containment initiatives Leadership & Staff Management Provide leadership for staffing, training, supervision, and performance evaluations Ensure adequate staffing and appropriate skill mix to meet operational needs Promote staff education, professional development, and accountability Foster a collaborative, service‑oriented departmental culture Communication & Collaboration Maintain strong intra‑ and interdepartmental communication Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient nutrition needs Contribute to organizational goals through teamwork and continuous improvement
Qualifications Required:
