Director of Advancement and Enrollment Full-Time, Year-Round Central Montessori Academy About Central Montessori Academy Central Montessori Academy is a thriving Montessori community serving children from toddler through sixth grade. Position Overview Central Montessori Academy seeks a dynamic, strategic, and relationship-centered leader to serve as Director of Advancement and Enrollment. This senior leadership position oversees and integrates admissions, enrollment management, marketing, communications, and fundraising initiatives in support of the school's mission and long-term sustainability. The Director of Advancement and Enrollment will play a critical role in strengthening community engagement, increasing enrollment, elevating the school's visibility, and building a culture of philanthropy. Primary Responsibilities Enrollment Management Lead all aspects of the admissions and enrollment process from inquiry through enrollment and retention Develop and implement strategic enrollment initiatives to support sustainable growth Oversee tours, open houses, and prospective family engagement Analyze enrollment data and market trends to inform strategy and decision-making Foster strong relationships with prospective and current families Advancement and Fundraising Develop and execute annual giving initiatives and long-term advancement strategies Cultivate, steward, and strengthen donor and community relationships Plan and oversee fundraising events and campaigns Research and pursue grant opportunities and oversee submissions Partner with school leadership to advance philanthropic priorities Marketing and Communications Lead branding, messaging, and storytelling efforts across all communication platforms Oversee the school's website, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials Collaborate with faculty and administrators to highlight student experiences and program strengths Ensure consistency and excellence in internal and external communications Leadership and Strategic Planning Serve as a member of the school's leadership team Partner closely with the Head of School on strategic planning and community engagement initiatives Provide regular reporting and analysis related to enrollment, advancement, and marketing goals Contribute to a collaborative, mission-driven school culture Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred Minimum of five years of experience in admissions, advancement, marketing, development, or related leadership roles Independent school experience strongly preferred Demonstrated success in enrollment growth, fundraising, or community engagement Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Familiarity with Montessori education is preferred Desired Attributes Relationship-builder with warmth, professionalism, and integrity Strategic thinker who combines vision with strong execution Data-informed and highly organized Passionate about education, community, and mission-driven work Collaborative leader who thrives in a dynamic school environment Compensation and Benefits Central Montessori Academy offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package, professional development opportunities, and a supportive and collegial work environment.
