Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Director of Behavioral Services to lead and elevate the quality of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services across our Behavioral Services Department. This role partners closely with the Executive Director of Behavioral Services to ensure clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and strong outcomes for children and families—particularly within school-age programming. The Director of Behavioral Services provides strategic leadership, clinical oversight, and mentorship to Behavior Analysts and providers, ensuring services align with best practices, ethical standards, and funding source requirements. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with executive leadership to guide the growth and clinical direction of the Behavioral Services division Provide oversight of all behavior analytic services to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance Conduct trainings, clinical orientation, and competency-based professional development for providers Lead quality assurance initiatives, including case reviews and barrier assessments Develop and implement ongoing quality improvement plans across the department Ensure compliance with agency policies, state and federal regulations, funding source requirements, and BACB™ ethical guidelines Serve as a clinical leader for assigned caseloads, including client observations and feedback Required Qualifications Strong commitment to ethical, evidence-based ABA services Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative Professional, collaborative leadership style Deep knowledge of ABA services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder Experience working with school-age populations and a commitment to individuals across the lifespan
