This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all food service operations while ensuring high standards of nutrition, safety, and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities of Director of Dietary Services:

Direct and manage all dietary services within the skilled nursing facility Supervise, train, and evaluate dietary staff, including supervisors and kitchen personnel Develop and maintain menus that meet residents' nutritional needs, physician orders, and state/federal regulations Ensure compliance with NYS Department of Health regulations, sanitation standards, and CMS guidelines Oversee food procurement, inventory control, budgeting, and cost management Collaborate with nursing, administration, and clinical teams regarding resident care plans and dietary needs Conduct regular quality assurance checks and kitchen inspections Ensure a safe, clean, and efficient food service environment Qualifications for

Director of Dietary Services:

Prior experience as a Dietary Manager or Director in a Skilled Nursing Facility strongly preferred Knowledge of long-term care dietary regulations, sanitation standards, and nutrition requirements Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills ServSafe Certification and/or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred We are committed to providing high-quality care and are looking for a leader who shares that commitment in delivering excellent nutritional services to our residents.
