Taft Brown Associates has partnered with a behavioral health organization in search for a Director of Finance. In this role you will support those that are in the facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members. You will direct the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.Essential Functions:
Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives. Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits. Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices. Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff. workflow and complies records of office activities. Minimum overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air. Qualifications and requirements Bachelor's Degree in related field preferredSimilar remote jobs
