ITAR, NIST SP

800-171, and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements. The position safeguards Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and defense-related technical data and serves as the primary point of contact for customers, auditors, and government agencies on all matters related to technology and regulatory compliance within a highly regulated aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Information Technology Leadership Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with business and defense contracting requirements. Oversee infrastructure, networks, cloud platforms, ERP systems, and end-user support. Manage IT budgets, vendors, and technology modernization initiatives. Cybersecurity & Compliance Lead cybersecurity programs in accordance with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC. Protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and export-controlled data. Maintain SSPs, POA&Ms, risk assessments, and audit documentation. Coordinate internal and external audits and incident response activities. ITAR & Export Compliance Serve as the internal expert for ITAR and export control requirements. Establish and enforce policies for handling controlled technical data. Conduct training and support government and customer compliance reviews. Facility Security Oversee physical and facility security programs aligned with DCSA requirements. Manage access control, surveillance, visitor management, and incident reporting. Leadership & Collaboration Lead and develop IT and security teams. Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional departments. Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and contract compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master's preferred. 10+ years of IT leadership experience, including 5+ years in aerospace, defense, or government contracting.
