Description :

Overview We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Director of Network & Infrastructure to serve as a key partner and right hand to the CIO. This individual will play a critical leadership role in shaping and executing enterprise IT infrastructure strategy, driving modernization initiatives, and ensuring a secure, scalable, and high-performing environment across the organization. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in autonomy, can lead major initiatives with minimal oversight, and is comfortable operating at both strategic and technical levels. Key Responsibilities Strategic LeadershipPartner directly with the CIO to define and execute IT infrastructure and network strategy Lead enterprise-wide initiatives including infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, and data center optimization Act as a decision-maker and escalation point for critical infrastructure and network issues Infrastructure & Network ManagementOversee design, implementation, and support of network architecture (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, VPN) Manage core infrastructure including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of all infrastructure systems Operational ExcellenceEstablish and enforce best practices for system reliability, monitoring, and incident response Drive continuous improvement in uptime, performance, and service delivery Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts Security & CompliancePartner with security teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, etc.) Implement and maintain secure network architectures and access controls Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and grow a high-performing infrastructure and network team Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning Manage vendors and third-party service providers Project & Initiative OwnershipLead large-scale IT projects from planning through execution (e.g., system upgrades, cloud migrations, network transformations) Operate independently to drive CIO-led initiatives forward without constant oversight Qualifications 5-10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure and network experience, including leadership roles Proven experience leading enterprise infrastructure environments in complex organizations Strong expertise in: Network architecture (routing, switching, firewalls, SD-WAN) Cloud platforms Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) Data center operations and modernization Demonstrated ability to lead large initiatives independently and influence executive stakeholders Experience managing and developing technical teams Strong understanding of security frameworks and regulatory compliance (HIPAA preferred)
