This position performs the following duties: Plans, organizes, resources, and directs the execution of a wide range of complex inspection activities for the wing Commander's Inspection Program (CCIP). Activities include planning and directing inspections th incorpore Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Air Force (DAF), gaining major command(s) (G-MAJCOMs), Nional Guard Bureau (NGB), ste, wing, local instructions, and laws for regulory guidance. Oversees compliance, plans, and conducts By-Law, Special Emphasis Items (SEI), Special Interest Items (SII), Command Interest Items (CII) and nuclear assurance inspections as outlined by requirements from the DoD, DAF, NGB, andG-MAJCOM.
Routinely required to interpret and incorpore complex laws, and guidance from all levels for the creion of inspection plans throughout the wing. Applies an extensive knowledge of installion operions and DoD, DAF, andG-MAJCOM
guidance to direct complex stregic planning and exercise efforts. Utilizes qualitive and quantitive analytical techniques th frequently require modificion to fit a wide range of variables to determine the unit's ability to accomplish the mission(s). Reviews the adequacy and currency of installion exercise policy guidance and instructions, and updes as necessary to incorpore program changes or to address areas where improvement is required. Works directly with commanders all levels to determine scope, scale, rigor, relevance, recurrence, and reporting (S2R4) of unit exercises. Responsible for organizing and analyzing da from inspections and exercises across the DoD with the goal of identifying and communicing trends. Through trend identificion and analysis, communice da throughout the wing to commanders and unit self-assessment program managers for possible inclusion in their individual unit programs to determine compliance. Makes determinion if trend items are wing-wide concerns, any wing-wide trends presented and explained during the commander's inspection management board (CIMB) and may be added into the CCIP for horizontal or vertical inspection. Oversees and manages the WIT conducting inspection and exercise activities. Ensures the WIT consist of subject mter experts to conduct CCIP inspections and exercises under the authority of the Wing/center Commander. Serves as a qualified complaint resolution representive providing advisory services to individuals, other staff offices, managers, supervisors, and employees concerning the IG program and processes. Conducts IG complaint, Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA), and whistleblower intake by interacting directly with unit members and employees, protects confidentiality of complainants, and ensures a thorough and complete complaint is presented to the IG. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. Employee required to wear and use personal protective equipment as required and provided by the employer. Ability to establish effective professional working relionships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperive working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission. Irregular and/or overtime (compensory) hours may be required to support operional requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day. May be required to travel by car, in military and/or commercial aircraft, and by other means of transportion as approprie to perform temporary duty assignments. : 1-year specialized experience, educion, or training equivalent to least the next lower grade level. Must have experience, educion, or training in interpreting, developing, and implementing Air Force inspection policy and wing-level long-range stregic plans.
