Director of Memory Care

We are seeking an individual who possesses a passion for helping others, thrives within a team environment and has a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors while advancing their skills. Responsibilities Coordinating the overall functioning of the Memory Care Program, including managing staff, coordinating resident programs, and collaborating as a team with the RSD, therapy team, and other campus team members Recruiting, hiring, orientation training, and scheduling of staff Completes the screening process for all prospective individuals participating in our Memory Lane - Fitness for the Mind program Develop relationships with both residents and family members and facilitates the care of those individuals within the Fitness for the Mind program Completing required documentation Coordinating a meaningful enrichment program designed to enhance the individual functioning level of each resident Development of programs to help alleviate the stresses related to managing a memory deficit, including behavioral and mood related symptoms.
